Thinking about Diocesan Priesthood? Check out our Associates Program!
What is the Associates Program?
The Associates Program is sponsored by the Office of Vocations of the Diocese of Providence for the purpose of fostering priestly vocations.
The Associates is for mature individuals who feel drawn by God to explore the Priesthood. We meet informally each month to pray, discuss, and share our thoughts and questions on vocations and priestly life.
Who can join the Associates?
The Associates is open to all men in college and beyond. The group meets once every month to explore topics related to service, ministry and/or priesthood. The Associates is for men who are not yet ready to make a commitment to the priestly formation program but wish to meet, pray and socialize with others who are in the process of discerning God's call in their life.
How long can I remain in the Associates?
You determine the length of time that you remain in the Associates. Your participation with the program ends when you arrive at a decision either that the priesthood is for you and you are ready to go through the formal screening process or that priesthood is not your calling.
